Visual Merchandising Executive
Job Purpose
Overseeing the visual presentation and in-store brand expression across offline points of sale. Ensuring consistent implementation of visual guidelines that maximize product visibility, drive sell-through, and enhance the overall customer experience. Coordinating with the commercial and stock teams to maintain a cohesive visual and operational flow across all locations.
Functional Roles and Responsibilities
- Translating brand visual strategy into local execution across the offline points of sale and ensuring each store reflects the brand’s identity.
- Coordinating with the Store Experience Manager and Brand VM team to align on product launches, activations, and campaign rollouts.
- Overseeing floor layouts, store displays, and fixture presentations to ensure a visually engaging and commercial setup.
- Ensuring brand visual guidelines and directives are being implemented accurately and consistently across all display areas.
- Planning and executing product zoning and display updates based on sales performance, seasonal priorities, and customer flow.
- Monitoring sell-through and analyzing visual impact, proposing adjustments that enhance product visibility and drive commercial results.
- Collaborating with the back-of-house team to ensure key display products are available, prepared, and replenished in a timely manner.
- Maintaining fixtures, lighting, and display materials in pristine condition, ensuring all visual elements meet brand standards.
- Managing visual merchandising schedules and ensuring all points of sale are remaining visually aligned and brand-compliant.
- Guiding store teams on VM standards, styling techniques, and display maintenance to ensure daily visual consistency.
- Training front-of-house associates on maintaining visual discipline, proper product handling, and presentation standards.
- Supporting performance development for junior visual or display assistants by providing hands-on guidance, feedback, and coaching to strengthen their skills and understanding of brand aesthetics.
Job Requirements
Education/Certification and Continued Education
Diploma or degree in Visual Merchandising, Fashion, or related field
Years of Experience
3–5 years in Visual Merchandising; Experience managing multiple locations preferred
Knowledge and Skills
- Demonstrating a strong sense of design and styling by translating brand aesthetics into impactful in-store displays that capture customer attention and reflect the brand identity.
- Exercising exceptional attention to detail by ensuring every visual element—from product placement to lighting and signage—is being executed precisely and maintained to brand standards.
- Applying creativity and commercial awareness by designing displays that are both visually inspiring and strategically aligned with sales trends, product priorities, and customer behavior.
- Practicing effective time management by planning and executing visual updates, product launches, and store activations within set timelines while maintaining high-quality standards.
Languages
