As a Product Owner in Ounass, you own a domain end to end. You decide what gets built and why, then work shoulder to shoulder with Engineering, Design, Data and the business to ship it and measure its success. Balancing long-term vision with day-to-day priorities is all part of the role.
Here's why the work is genuinely different. The GCC doesn't run on Western defaults. Addresses are pins on a map, not post-codes, so "deliver in two hours" is a routing problem before it's a promise. The experience has to be as considered in Arabic and right-to-left as it is in English. Ramadan and Eid rewrite the shopping calendar every year. The playbooks written for London or New York don't survive contact with any of this, so you build your own.
Luxury adds a second twist. Most of the product playbook was written for scale: strip out friction, collapse every journey into the fewest taps, let the funnel decide. Luxury asks for the opposite instinct. The goal isn't to move someone to checkout in three clicks, it's to make browsing feel like an edit worth lingering in. The urgency banners and "only two left" nudges that lift conversion elsewhere quietly cheapen a brand here. Aesthetics aren't the polish you add at the end, they're part of the spec. You're building for a discerning cohort who notice the half-pixel and expect the app to feel as considered as the boutique, and half the craft is deciding what not to build.
We're looking for people who think in customer problems, decide with data, and want their work visible in the business. If that's you, the room to shape what comes next is real.
