Role Overview
As the Middle East’s premier luxury e‑commerce destination, Ounass is dedicated to cultivating Emirati talent to help shape the future of luxury retail in the UAE. The UAE National Creative Assistant will support the creative team in delivering refined, on‑brand visual and written content across channels, learning the craft of luxury storytelling while contributing fresh, locally grounded perspectives.
This position blends hands‑on production support with creative coordination and basic analysis of content performance. Key Responsibilities
Creative Production Support
Assist in the preparation and coordination of photoshoots, including talent liaison, prop organisation, and on‑set assistance to ensure brand standards are upheld.
Support image selection, basic retouching requests, and maintenance of asset libraries to guarantee consistency across channels.
Prepare moodboards, creative references, and visual presentations for campaigns and seasonal initiatives.
Collaborate with the production team to manage content delivery schedules and ensure timely handover of final assets.
Assist with videography tasks, including simple edits, captioning, and format optimisation for social and web.
Content Creation & Copy Support
Draft short‑form captions, product descriptions, and microcopy that reflect Ounass’ luxury tone of voice, subject to review and approval.
Localise copy for Arabic audiences in collaboration with translators and the senior copy team to ensure cultural relevance and accuracy.
Contribute to the social content calendar with creative ideas that align to seasonal priorities and merchandising plans.
Support content repurposing across platforms to maximise reach and engagement.
Campaign & Channel Coordination
Coordinate with Digital Marketing and Trading teams to prepare creative briefs, track asset readiness, and ensure timely campaign launches.
Submit creative and production briefs through Jira and follow through to completion with cross‑functional stakeholders.
Maintain the creative calendar and assist in tracking deadlines, approvals, and version control for all deliverables.
Support basic quality assurance checks on creative assets to ensure technical and brand compliance before publication.
Social & Community Support
Schedule and publish content across Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Stories under guidance from the social lead.
Monitor basic social engagement and flag opportunities or issues to the social and community teams.
Assist with influencer content coordination and ensure creative deliverables meet brand expectations.
Support social listening activities by capturing relevant cultural trends and community sentiment to inform creative ideas.
Performance & Insights Support
Compile simple performance summaries for creative assets and social posts to help the team understand content effectiveness.
Maintain basic tracking of asset versions, usage, and campaign attribution to support reporting accuracy.
Assist senior colleagues with ad hoc analysis to surface learning and suggest creative refinements.
Qualifications & Experience
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Design, Communications, Marketing, Media, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience
0–2 years of experience in a creative, social, or content production environment; internships and freelance experience are valued.
Skills & Competencies
Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro) or similar tools.
Good written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are highly desirable.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
Creatively curious with an eye for luxury aesthetics and storytelling.
Ability to work collaboratively across functions and take direction from senior creatives.
