The Brand & Social Manager is a senior, integrated leadership role responsible for shaping how Ounass shows up culturally, creatively, and socially across the region.
This role brings together brand marketing and organic social under one strategic vision, ensuring consistency, impact, and relevance across all touchpoints. You will lead both teams, set clear direction, and ensure that brand campaigns, cultural moments, and social storytelling work as one powerful system.
On the organic social media front, you will define and drive Ounass’s social media strategy, leading the vision, storytelling, and performance across Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, and Youtube. You will oversee a talented social media team and collaborate cross-functionally with Content, Creative, Editorial, Merchandising, Performance, and Brand Marketing teams to deliver world-class content experiences.
On the brand marketing side, you will oversee brand communication and client gifting, Ounass-led partnership activations, and owned brand storytelling, ensuring every message is aligned with our positioning as the Middle East’s premier luxury e-commerce destination. A successful candidate will be expected to bring a mix of traditional retail marketing and modern digital brand-building expertise, rooted in the world of luxury fashion, beauty, and lifestyle. They will also manage the full brand marketing budget and lead a team of marketers and social media specialists to deliver industry-defining campaigns.
What you'll be doing?
Brand & Social Strategy
Own the integrated Brand Marketing & Social Media strategy, ensuring alignment across campaigns, always-on content, partnerships, and cultural moments
Translate Ounass’s brand positioning into clear creative and social narratives
Shift brand storytelling from awareness-led to consideration and emotional connection, especially in the UAE, KSA & Kuwait markets.
Act as the connective tissue between brand vision and social execution
Campaign & Cultural Leadership
Lead end-to-end 360° brand campaigns (Seasonal and Tier 1 campaigns, gifting moments, key launches, customer engagement)
Ensure campaigns are equity-building in practice and social-first in thinking, without becoming trend-chasing
Oversee industry partnerships and brand equity activations from a storytelling and cultural relevance lens
Guide bold, innovative, on-brand campaigns with the objective of being globally relevant and locally led
Social Media Oversight
Oversee organic social strategy across Instagram, TikTok, Threads, and Youtube
Ensure strong social processes: planning, calendars, content approvals, reporting, and optimisation
Guide platform-specific storytelling while protecting luxury brand equity
Partner with performance teams to ensure organic supports broader marketing objectives
Team Leadership & Development
Lead, mentor, and develop both Brand Marketing and Social Media teams
Add structure, clarity, and ambition to relatively junior teams
Identify capability gaps and help build the next layer of senior talent (P1 roles)Foster a culture of high standards, curiosity, and accountability
Measurement & Stakeholder Management
Define success across brand and social KPIs (brand lift, consideration, engagement, traffic and reach proxies)
Use data to inform decisions without compromising creativityBuild strong relationships with Buying, Creative/Editorial, PR & Events, Studio, Visual Merchandising and Trade teams
Present clear and convincing narratives and recommendations to senior stakeholders
What We’re Looking For...
7-10 years’ experience across brand marketing and social/content
Luxury, fashion, or beauty background strongly preferred (in retail, e-commerce, or publishing)
Proven people leader with experience managing multiple workstreams
Deep understanding of GCC cultural nuances
Strong editorial taste and brand judgment
Strategic thinker who is still close to execution
Ambitious, growth-oriented, and ready to scale into a Senior Manager role
