Job Purpose
The Videographer Manager will lead the planning, production and post‑production of all video content to support brand, marketing and commerce objectives. This role combines creative direction, hands-on camera and editing expertise, and people management to ensure the delivery of compelling, on‑brand video assets for web, social and email channels.
What you will be doing
-
Lead and mentor a small team of videographers and editors, fostering a collaborative working environment and developing skills, processes and best practice across the video function.
-
Plan, direct and execute video shoots from concept to completion including product films, campaign content, lookbooks, BTS, and social‑first short form assets optimised for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and the website.
-
Collaborate closely with Creative Producers, Stylists, Photographers, Digital Marketing and Merchandising to interpret briefs, set creative direction and ensure video output meets campaign and commercial objectives.
-
Manage production logistics: budget planning, scheduling, location sourcing, equipment provisioning, set preparation, lighting, sound capture and on‑set direction.
-
Provide hands‑on editing and oversee post‑production workflows using industry software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects), including colour grading, motion graphics and sound design to maintain high quality and consistency.
-
Ensure delivery of multiple aspect ratios and file formats optimised for platform requirements and performance, and maintain an organised archive of media assets and project files.
-
Implement quality control and playback testing processes to guarantee technical accuracy and optimal user experience across web and mobile.
-
Work with E‑commerce teams to develop product‑centric video assets that drive conversion (product demos, 360 views, styling clips) and measure performance against KPIs, iterating on creative approaches accordingly.
-
Develop creative concepts, storyboards and shot lists; present ideas and rationale to stakeholders and contribute to the broader content strategy.
-
Support live events and high‑profile shoots, providing senior on‑site direction and ensuring smooth delivery under tight timelines.
What we are looking for?
-
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Film, Media Production, Video Production or a related discipline.
-
4+ years’ experience in professional video production, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or management role, preferably within fashion, luxury retail or eCommerce.
-
Proven portfolio and showreel demonstrating strong storytelling, leadership on set and a contemporary visual sensibility.
-
Advanced proficiency in editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and motion graphics (After Effects); strong understanding of colour grading and audio post‑production.
-
Extensive camera operation experience across DSLR/mirrorless and cinema cameras, lighting, grip and professional audio capture techniques.
-
Deep knowledge of video formats, codecs and delivery requirements for web, mobile and social platforms.
-
Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise multiple projects and resource allocation in a fast‑paced environment.
-
Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills, with proven ability to manage stakeholders and external suppliers.
-
Passion for luxury fashion, an eye for styling and trends, and a proactive, solution‑oriented approach to creative challenges.
Why join Ounass?
-
Be part of an innovative team shaping the future of luxury in the Middle East.
-
