We are seeking a highly experienced Fullstack Engineer IV to join Ounass as a senior technical contributor within our Engineering team. This role is ideal for an AI-native engineer with senior-level web development experience in any language or stack, expert programming fundamentals, a solid architectural mindset, and a proven track record of owning scalable production systems end-to-end and mentoring engineers.

You will own delivery across the full software development lifecycle — from technical discovery and specification through implementation, verification, and production operation — using AI-assisted and agentic development workflows as a force multiplier. Your value lies in judgment: architecture, correctness, security, and product trade-offs. You will collaborate cross-functionally to deliver reliable, performant digital experiences for our luxury e-commerce platform. This position requires a product-minded, technically skilled individual who thrives in a fast- paced environment.

• Drive secure, scalable architecture patterns and engineering best practices for AI-assisted fullstack

• development

• Own and evolve the team’s agentic development harness — rule files, agent skills, tool/MCP

• integrations, guardrails, and observability — treating context engineering artifacts as versioned,

• reviewed code

• Champion system design that supports high availability, fault tolerance, and performance

• Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory standards (e.g., PCI-DSS, GDPR)

• Act as a technical advisor to product and engineering leads
  Lead the design and delivery of end-to-end features — from specification through agent-assisted

• implementation, verification, and production monitoring — across backend APIs and frontend interfaces

• Debug and resolve critical production issues with autonomy and speed

• Own testing and verification strategy — automated test suites for deterministic behavior and eval suites with explicit rubrics for agent output — as quality gates that make high-velocity AI-assisted delivery safe, and drive automation and CI/CD pipeline improvements

• Optimize code performance and eliminate system bottlenecks

• Own system documentation, refactoring initiatives, and technical debt reduction

• Collaborate closely with design, product, and QA on requirements shaping, technical discovery, and seamless feature delivery

• Build and maintain integrations with e-commerce platforms, payment systems, and CRM/CMS tools

• Evaluate and drive adoption of emerging technologies, AI development tooling, and agentic workflows across the engineering team
  
  We are looking for…

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience with demonstrated end-to-end ownership of production web systems (any language/stack), leading technical initiatives, mentoring engineers, and influencing architecture decisions

• Senior-level web development experience in any language/stack, with expert command of programming fundamentals (data structures, concurrency, HTTP/API semantics, browser and runtime internals), and willing to work with our current environment of Node.js/JavaScript and React

• AI-native: hands-on with AI-assisted and agentic development workflows — task decomposition and specification writing for agents, context/prompt engineering, rigorous review and verification of AI-generated code, and awareness of token economics and cost-efficient agent design

• Deep understanding of API design, system scalability, and secure coding practices

• Proficiency in database modeling, distributed systems, and performance optimization

• Strong knowledge of CI/CD, Docker/Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, Git workflows, automated testing, and technical documentation

• Familiarity with key e-commerce modules including Magento, CMS/CRM, and payment systems

• Skilled in communication, technical presentations, and cross-functional collaboration

• Product-oriented mindset with ability to align engineering efforts to business goals
